Free Movies at the Grandin

I’m generally not one of those “everything was better in the old days” people. Maybe it’s because I’m not yet old enough, but, as I see it, most modern advances serve to keep us happier and healthier. That’s a good thing. But there’s one area where the good ol’ days might have an edge.

Cartoons.

Old cartoons are just plain funny. And sophisticated, if occasionally politically incorrect by today’s standards.

Grandin Theatre will be showing free screenings of Looney Tunes this Friday and Saturday at 10 am. Your kids will love it. Even better, so will you.

Later in the summer, they’ll repeat the offering, on July 16 & 17 and August 20 & 21.

The event is sponsored by the Greater Raleigh Court Civic League, Honeytree Learning Center, and the Grandin.

Did I mention it’s free? See you there.
