Local Roots to open in new location Friday

Local Roots, previously located in Grandin Gardens, boasts a fantastic menu with locally grown ingredients. Their move to a bigger and better spot in Grandin Village has been in the works for a number of months, and is set to culminate in a grand re-opening this Friday. Owner Diane Elliot is excited about the new prime location, immediately adjacent to the Grandin Theatre, and speaks enthusiastically about the amenities they’ll offer, including a full bar, outdoor seating, and indoor “porch”, and a wood-fired brick oven. In the not-to-distant future, Elliot hopes to offer live music.

We had dinner here on Thursday, 8/12/10 and it was a wonderful experience. And after the movie, we stopped back by for a nightcap and discussion of the movie – a great place for dining, drinking, and socializing.

The decor is fantastic, food wonderful, and service excellent – check it out!
