**REWARD OFFERED**
The Roanoke Police Department is seeking information from the public
regarding incidents of property damage. Officers responded at 8:40 a.m. on
February 13, 2011, to the 2700 block of Laburnum Avenue in reference to a
vehicle that appeared to have its windows damages by a bb gun or air rifle.
Upon further investigation officers located more vehicles that had been
damaged in a similar manner. In addition, additional citizens called to
report damage to their vehicles. A total of 34 vehicles were damage in the
following areas:
2500-2700 blocks of Laburnum Avenue
2000-2600 blocks of Avenel Avenue
2100 block of Carter Road
2800 block of Bluefield Avenue
2400 block of Grandin Road
1800 block of Warrington Avenue
1400 block of Windborne Avenue
2100 block of Dudding Street
No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information regarding
this or other crimes should call the Roanoke Police Department at 853-5959
or Crime Line at 344-8500. An anonymous donor has offered a $500 reward
for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s)
involved in the incident. Crime Line may offer a monetary reward for any
information leading to an arrest.
